Consultancy - How We Work

We understand the key drivers shaping innovation-based industries and the communication and engagement challenges they face. Whether you are raising venture capital for the development of a new vaccine, reporting the benefits of a novel ceramic coating for Formula 1 engines, exploring the public's reaction to nanotechnology or investing in the latest biotech, Inform Consulting can help.

We offer sound impartial advice and support and are committed to working closely with our clients at every stage of the business lifecycle. Before embarking on an assignment we discuss exact requirements, key priorities and objectives with the client and identify the most efficient and cost-effective approach to our work.

Depending on individual requirements of a particular brief, we can offer our consultancy services on an hourly/daily rate, per-project basis, a long-term retainer agreement or on an equity basis. Our fees accurately reflect the professional service we provide. We believe it is in our interest, as well as our client's, to have a flexible and realistic fees policy and to charge as reasonably as possible - our aim is to develop long-term relationships with our clients.

We follow principles based on the Institute of Management Consultancy Code of Professional Conduct...

We treat our client's interests as paramount at all times. This means that we:
  - only accept work we are qualified to undertake
  - agree in advance the scope, nature and deliverables of the services to be provided, and the basis of remuneration
  - keep all information concerning our clients completely confidential at all times and do not disclose proprietary information obtained during assignments
  - ensure that advice, solutions and recommendations are based on thorough, impartial consideration and analysis of available pertinent facts and relevant experience and are realistic, practicable and clearly understood by the client

We act with integrity, independence and objectivity. This means that we:

  - always disclose relevant information that might influence or impair our independence or objectivity
  - never accept assignments that create conflicts of interest
  - never use inside knowledge gained with one client to inform work for another.
